CURVETX, an innovative, venture-backed start-up company based in Southampton, UK, seeks a talented individual to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Biophysicist, you will play a pivotal role in discovering and developing groundbreaking therapeutics for cancer treatment.

Responsibilities:

Run molecular biophysical methods, including MST (Microscale thermophoresis), SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance), and TSA (Thermal Shift Assays).
Design and develop new biophysical assays to drive innovation.
Conduct research into proteinligand interactions to support drug discovery projects.
Collaborate across different disciplines, including chemistry and biology.

Requirements:

Hold a PhD or Masters qualification in Biophysics, Biochemistry, or Biology, with experience in biophysical techniques like SPR and DSF (Differential Scanning Fluorimetry).
Additional expertise in other biophysical techniques and fluorescence methods is advantageous.
Proficiency in providing quantitative data on proteinligand binding, including affinity, kinetics, and stoichiometry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data effectively to diverse audiences.
Ideally, have prior research experience within the industry.
