An exciting opportunity has arisen within Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) to join the Informatics and Community Information Services working together with the Welsh Community Care Information System (WCCIS) National Team.

This post requires an experienced Registered Professional with significant knowledge and experience in analysis, requirements, engagement, and clinical informatics. The post holder will be required to professionally represent the requirements and interests of Social Care Workers in Wales.


In conjunction with other members of the Clinical Directorate, Community Information Services and WCCIS Programme, they will be required to lead the development and implementation of digital solutions to ensure the delivery of new ways of working resulting in safer patient/client care.


As a key member of the Clinical Directorate the post holder will effectively develop professional leadership with the WCCIS Programme, other DHCW Directorates, Welsh Government, Directors of Social Services, professional bodies, the third sector, and members of the public.


Working across Community, Clinical informatics and WCCIS you will have the opportunity to work closely with local organisations across Wales to deliver significant change in how users work and ultimately provide a better service to citizens.
