An opportunity has arisen for a full-time experienced Project Manager to join their innovative and friendly Occupational Therapy Team. Occupational Therapy Team forms part of the Integrated Care Service.


The post holder will have considerable experience and proven track record in successfully leading projects across a large and complex operational setting, driving forward a strengths-based approach to community led support.

Identifying areas of work withinthe teams and service already underway and aligning those into the Project, reducing demand, identifying policy areas for development and implementation and roll out with relevant staffing groups ensuring clear roles & responsibilities, processes and accountability.


The post holder will have robust knowledge of national policy and change in Local Authority to understand key relationships, partners, and stakeholders.

Working closely, reporting, communicating and engaging with the Directorates Heads of Service, ServiceManagers, Occupational Therapy Team Manager, Principal Social Worker and wider partners where required.


Clear communication and engagement to gain a clear view on the OT pathways and processes, looking at the development and delivery of information, advice and guidance (internally and externally) including updates of public facing information e.g.

website,information directory, leaflets etc.

The project outcomes will need to provide:

  • Improved experience for the person at first point of contact relating to OT processes.
  • Ensure information is timely, accurate and easy to understand internally and externally.
  • Improved outcomes for adults accessing OT services.
  • Easier process to navigate through the operational pathway / processes for the person accessing.
  • Improved process and procedures aligning to the Adult Social Care legislation outlining the improvements linked to inspections.
  • Alignment of strategic and operational delivery against key health and social care partners delivering similar projects in this area.
  • All legislative requirements of the Care Act and wider legislation is adhered to.
  • Clearer processes for set up, staffing is clear on their roles and responsibilities / wider links to the budget monitoring and resolution of financial issues.
  • Links to existing Social Care system, performance frameworks and any additional monitoring reports and requirements.
  • Links to key strategic projects such as care technology and community equipment

Skills:


  • Knowledge of legislation and working within a local authority setting is essential.
  • Prince 2 Practitioner Certification or other recognised Project Management qualifications
    essential.
  • Good insight and knowledge on ASC services and partners and how they work.
  • Demonstrating a collaborative approach and tenacity to ensure project outcomes.
  • High level knowledge and experience of in MS Excel, with the ability to develop reports and dashboards
  • Strong communicator and operate on a personable nature to pull together stakeholders, offering solutions to move projects forward in line with the improvement agenda.
The IR35 status for this role is currently undetermined however this will be provided imminently.

This will be a hybrid model of working.
