    Department Manager East London, Stratford £40,000 + Benefits
    Overview

    We are looking for energetic and passionate retailers that want to be a part of something that's new, evolving and growing.

    The key are of focus for this role is your team, supporting with recruitment, onboarding, cultural events and celebrations, training and development, if you are passionate about people and want to develop your career more specifically in this field, this could be a great opportunity.

    Please note; this is not a HR role but a great way to start being more focused on the journey and development of your team, you are still part of the wider leadership team on the shop floor.

    To thrive in this role, you must be passionate about People and enjoy creating a positive, supportive working environment for your team.

    The Role

    Lead and protect an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every member of our community is welcomed warmly, and greeted by an excited and inspiring brand ambassador.

    Expert on all elements of the customer journey, to educate, inform and share.
    Provide all customers and visitors with 360-degree knowledge of the brand and its local community.
    Drive exceptional results, protect customer retention

    Build relationships with customers and support the wider team to get to know individual community members, frequent visitors, and long-standing supporters.

    Drive communication and key focuses in daily team huddles, ensuring everyone starts their shift well informed
    Experience needed

    Experience in a Customer facing Management role
    Strong commercial awareness and experience in reporting
    Experience of working in a fast-paced, high volume, agile environment
    Experience managing and developing effective teams
    Passion for development - personal and of a team, with proven experience
    Community building in a new market
    Comfortable working in a digital environment
    Highly effective communicator, written and verbal
    You are comfortable shifting gears and spinning multiple plates
    Must be able to take and give constructive feedback
