Description

Duties:


  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily activities that promote the intellectual and social growth of children
  • Help develop and implement ageappropriate curriculum
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide individual and small group instruction to children as directed by the lead teacher
  • Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with young children
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working in a SEND setting preferred
  • Must pass an enhanced DBS check

  • Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
