The People Of:

Digital is assisting an established FMCG company based in Leeds to join their eCommerce division as an experienced eCommerce marketplaces manager.


About the Role Essentially in this role you will take ownership & accountability over the online marketplace channels - those being Ebay & amazon.

As the eCommerce marketplaces manager, you will be commercially astute and have proven experience driving sales across online marketplaces.

You will be strong in developing optimal web content for B2C / eCommerce sites and have demonstrable skills using3rd party online marketplace platforms.

You will also be up to date with the online marketplaces changes/updates and regulations.


You'll report directly to the Head of eCommerce and your main role will be to lead the growth of the 2 main multi-channel platforms.


Responsibilities:


The successful applicant will have the following skills/experience:

  • Advanced Online Multi-Channel Platform Experience (eBay/Amazon)
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
  • A keen eye and attention to detail

Desirable skills:

  • Online Multi-Channel Platform Experience (eBay/Amazon)
  • Experience with Magento Admin (highly desirable)
  • Experience with Photoshop or illustrator
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Photography skills

Experience:


  • Working on the two most popular 3rd party websites 3 years (preferred)
  • Magento 1 year (preferred)


This is a superb opportunity for a commercial Ecommerce Marketplaces Manager looking for a more challenging role and to grow within a young, quickly expanding company.

Remuneration; package in the region of £45-55k with a clear path of progression plus a bonus and other benefits


This role is based outside Leeds and is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Selby, Leeds, Wakefield, York, Huddersfield, Barnsley and perhaps Manchester.

This opportunity offers hybrid working and ideally, the successful person will be ableto commute to my client's Leeds office twice per week.
