Description
We are recruiting for a brand new EBD service in West Yorkshire. Are you an experienced Children's Registered Manager?

The accommodation for this service will create a sense of calm which is essential to help children maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle.

We do this by offering a games room, an educational platform and therapy.


Responsibilities:


  • To be a registered manager responsible for implementing and maintaining regulated activities.
  • To ensure that services, support and care are provided personcentred, using personcentred approaches.
  • To contribute to the overall development of the home and to ensure compliance with the aims and objectives of the company.
  • Responsible for the care and safety of staff and children.
  • Accountable for the daytoday management by statutory regulations, policies and procedures of the Company.
  • Finance management and budgeting
  • Ensure robust training and development for employees
  • The promotion of an environment conducive to a high standard of care in which children can thrive and create positive and lasting memories.
  • Use a 'Working Together' approach to secure best practice
  • To be responsible for recruiting staff within the facility in conjunction with the Responsible Individual and Board of Directors
  • To ensure that all recruitment is in line with the Company policy on

  • To ensure that a robust recruitment process aligns with the Company Policy.

Key Skills/Requirements:


  • Working knowledge of attachment theory within children's homes
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours/pattern of hours
  • Working knowledge of managing budgets


  • QCF level 3/

  • CYP (qualified)
  • Knowledge/experience of the referral process
  • Full UK driving license
  • Two years of managerial experience within children's residential services.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the quality standards
  • Experience of Ofsted inspections
  • Hold or be willing to undertake QCF Level 5 leadership and management
