Description

Receptionist who has experience working on a Corporate Front of House Reception Desk or within a similar role for a 4 or 5 star Hotel / Corporate or similar high-end establishment is required for a corporate building based in Uxbridge, Middlesex.


SALARY:
£28,333 pro rata / £17,000 Actual Salary (includes weekend allowance) / equivalent to £15.57 per hour based on a 21-hour working week

Uxbridge, Middlesex

WORKING HOURS: 21 hours per week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift


JOB OVERVIEW


We have an amazing new job opportunity for a Receptionist who has first-class customer service skills and experience working on a Corporate Front of House Reception Desk or within a reception post for a 4 or 5 star Hotel or similar high-end establishment.


As the Receptionist you will be required to provide an efficient and professional reception service whilst displaying exceptional attention to detail.

You will work in a flexible, dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive way whilst demonstrating exceptional communication skills and high personal standards.


As a Receptionist you will represent the company in a corporate environment, responding to any requirements as and when necessary.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Receptionist will include:
Greeting & addressing all clients/guests in a professional and pleasant manner ensuring every first impression is first class

Managing the visitor sign in process, issuing relevant security passes & advising on any specific H&S requirements

Answering all calls in an efficient manner, transferring calls as appropriate, assisting with any enquiries whilst ensuring the level of service on the telephone is exceptional

Daily management of the reception area within set client standards, proactively looking & recommending ways to consistently raise the service standards through both the physical appearance & the service processes

Proactively deal with enquiries from the client, both face to face and on the telephone


Manage & arrange all meeting room booking requirements using the Meeting Management database to record all additional service requirements i.e.

catering and audio-visual needs

Maintain the Meeting Management system, effectively communicating all meeting room confirmation details back to the booking client

Assisting in the coordination & preparation of meeting rooms, with an eye for detail checking rooms are at the required standard

Actively demonstrate a good knowledge of the client's services to assist in the seamless delivery of the customer's experience

Build & maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems & developments, as well as general information, in order to be able to provide clients & visitors with information as required

Ensure prompt resolution of any customer complaints, escalating to the line manager as required

Proactively communicate any operational matters of concern & potential issues with your line manager, ensuring resolution at an early stage


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a front of house operation i.e. a Corporate or Hotel environment

The post holder will be professional at all times when dealing with clients and proactively represent the company promoting excellent customer service

Immaculate presentation at all times with impeccable attention to detail

Confident in both written and verbal forms of communication

Working accurately, under pressure, to tight deadlines with the ability to remain calm

First class customer service & complaint handling

Dealing with enquiries from the client, both face to face and on the telephone

A strong team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
