Youth Support Worker

We are looking for a Youth Support Worker who is looking to start their career or further their experience working with children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is an opportunity to be supportive in the learning journey of children within a fantastic Primary school in Haringey, North London.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

A desire to gain experience supporting pupils who require additional support with their learning and may have additional behavioural challenges, or you may be looking to build on your existing experience
Be willing to undertake Team Teach training and/or restraint training
Understand the importance of safeguarding procedures and policies

The Headteacher is keen to appoint someone who is confident, resilient and can demonstrate a positive influence.

Your focus will be to build a nurturing, caring relationship with the child/ren and assist them to develop their confidence, communication, and self-esteem.

About the Role:

Youth Support position based in education working predominanly in Key Stage
Monday-Friday
8:30am4:00pm
Located in Haringey, North London

The school are focused on mentoring their staff and assisting progression in their career journey with CPD and a mentor who will support you in your day to day responsibilities.

Job Types:

Salary:
£80.00-£90.00 per day
