The Role


The Senior HR Business Partner will manage the complete Human Resources function within the London Branch of this Private Bank, with one direct HR support.

This HR role will be the main point of reference for both staff and management, providing guidanceon HR processes and policies, rolling out HR initiatives.


Work closely with management in all aspects of HR, including resourcing, HR policy, compensation, employee relations and organisational change, ensuring a consistent and compliant approach to HR Policy, Processes and Procedures.

The Senior HR Business Partner will manage and review the payroll provider and benefits renewal.
Manage payroll information, completing reports, maintaining records.

The Senior HR Business Partner will support the business through recruitment processes.
Drafting job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies etc

Prepare employment agreements and work with an outsource supplier to conduct comprehensive background checks on all new employees.

Conduct induction meetings with new staff. Ensure end of probation period appraisals are prepared in a timely fashion and employment is confirmed.


The Senior HR Business Partner will resolve complex employee issues and queries through to resolution including restructuring, staff exits and attendance issues.

Manage the termination process to include preparing settlement agreements and exit interviews.


Review all current HR practices, procedures and documentation to identify and make appropriate changes to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.

Monitor/record maternity leave, parental leave, holidays, business travel, sick leave, training leave, special leave.

7-10 years HR experience, currently in a HR Business Partner rôle, or HR Manager level with leadership.

Financial Services HR experience - essential.

Must understand Financial Services Regulations.

Willingness to work in a smaller HR team.
