    The Head of Store Design, VM and in-store CX will own the full visual and customer journey experience of MV Stores from store design and build, visual and commercial merchandising and in-store brand assets and all physical items.

    This is a senior role which will be highly cross-functional and requires both long term strategy and planning and a hands on approach, strong execution skills.

    Store Design and Build


    • Lead the project of developing a new Store Design Concept for Monica Vinader Stores and concessions, taking the Brands store design to the next level, fully integrating all services and re-thinking/optimising the customer journey within the new Monica Vinader full service store, as well as embodying and emphasising Monica Vinader's commitments to Sustainability
    • Develop and codify the MV Store Design Concept and lead any work on its evolution, so as each new store/refurbishment/partner has a clear Store Design Concept to reference and work from
    • Lead and own all store projects from design through to execution for all new stores, concessions, store refurbishments, store refreshes, pop-ups and other physical installations
    • Build a network of design agencies and sustainable suppliers
    • Ensure all store design and build is efficient and cost effective, sustainable and scalable
    • Develop an on-Brand format for smaller stores and smaller concessions
    • Lead the 'end to end' (creative through to execution) global visual merchandising strategy, creative and implementation in all stores and concessions, ensuring all products and services are presented in an elevated, on Brand, coherent fashion, full integrated with Brand Pillars, and lead campaigns
    • Lead the visual merchandising function, working with key departments to create innovative VM schemes, in store marketing assets and signage, point of sale and props
    • Take on any ad-hoc VM projects, e.g Press Day VM set ups, other one-off projects
    Commercial Merchandising


    • Maximise store and range productivity by determining the store product assortment, the right level and flow of NPD, how and where the product range is presented in store (at the total, POD, Collection and SKU level) in terms of visual layout, concentration and groupings, point of sale and props
    • Combine Brand and Campaign priorities with sales data, the in-store customer journey, and other commercial objectives to inform product display within retail stores and where appropriate with any differences by market or location
    • Review performance data regularly to inform updates and changes to the assortment and its positioning
    In-store Customer Experience


    • Design/redesign the customer journey within the store, making sure each store is set up to optimise a seamless customer journey which emphasises and communicates the desired key products and messages
    • Lead the translation and implementation of marketing campaigns and concepts into the store environment (eg: through engaging windows, props, instore interest)
    • Ensure that the stores contribute to a wider omni-channel brand experience and where appropriate lead the customer back to MV digital touchpoints
    • Elevate and maintain the presentation, and cohesiveness of the brand in store across the full range of visual and physical touchpoints, including engraving, welding, embossing, staff uniform, props, plants, furniture, presentation of services (drinks, jewellery care etc), sensory experiences including scent/music
    Planning, Budgeting and Reporting


    • Own the overall planning, budgeting, cost management and reporting for the functions of the role
    Participate as a senior manager in the business
    Expertise in Store Design and Visual Merchandising built up over a significant period, and able to bring that knowledge and best practice but also be flexible to MV's culture


    • Ability to work closely and iteratively with senior creatives to produce elevated and on brand physical assets
    • Strong Analytical skills, understanding of KPIs and ability to interpret data
    • Flexible and adaptable approach with an ability to interact across all levels
    • Highly organised with an ability to produce quality work within deadline

    Regular travel to Norfolk, London retail locations and some international travel will be required
