We are recruiting a Classroom Assistant for an Sept Start
We are seeking a Classroom Assistant to work within a SEN Secondary school in the Brent area. In this role as a Classroom Assistant you will be be required to support pupils with their learning. This role is fulltime, Mon-Fri, 9am to 3pm.


You do need previous experience within SEN, and preferably in a Secondary school and have worked with children between 11-18.

The Role:


  • You should be adaptable and an excellent communicator with a commitment to professional development.
  • You would be working alongside the teacher with an individual pupil or as additional support with a small group of 34 children.
  • Work with the class teacher to help create fun and engaging lessons for students
  • Need to adapt your approach to learning based on the pupils' needs as a Classroom Assistant
  • Contribute towards a safe and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

Available Immediately:


  • SEN experience
  • You will need to have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • As a Classroom Assistant you'll need to be flexible and open to change when working on different activities
  • Have worked in Secondary school or worked with children aged 1118.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
