We are recruiting a Classroom Assistant for an Sept Start
We are seeking a Classroom Assistant to work within a SEN Secondary school in the Brent area. In this role as a Classroom Assistant you will be be required to support pupils with their learning. This role is fulltime, Mon-Fri, 9am to 3pm.

You do need previous experience within SEN, and preferably in a Secondary school and have worked with children between 11-18.

The Role:

You should be adaptable and an excellent communicator with a commitment to professional development.
You would be working alongside the teacher with an individual pupil or as additional support with a small group of 34 children.
Work with the class teacher to help create fun and engaging lessons for students
Need to adapt your approach to learning based on the pupils' needs as a Classroom Assistant
Contribute towards a safe and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

Available Immediately:

SEN experience
You will need to have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
As a Classroom Assistant you'll need to be flexible and open to change when working on different activities
Have worked in Secondary school or worked with children aged 1118.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
