    Description

    We are hiring for temporary position (analyst - 1 year) and fixed position (specialist).

    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    To support the Product Manager in all aspects of the role, including the market research and data management needed to launch New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, and responsibility for the on-going management of these projects through the various stages to completion.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) : project manage the full end-to-end process from initiation to completion, ensuring NPI projects are completely in a timely and highly accurate manner;
  • Perform research of OE and aftermarket competitor catalogues, interchanges, prices and component information to support gap analysis and new part additions;
  • Liaise with other functional teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, Brand, Data & Finance to ensure all aspects of the introduction process proceed without delay;
  • Preparation of master NPI support material, including bulletins, or other product information and supply to Brand marketing & catalogue data teams;
  • Management of new part additions to SAP and ongoing material maintenance in SAP;
  • Ongoing support for Sales and field marketing teams for queries on product specification, range, NPI status;
  • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications;
  • Assist with and respond to product enquiries submitted by sales personnel and customers;
  • Assist with re-sourcing activities as appropriate to ensure competitive cost base;
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good project management and organizational skills, able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing business needs;
  • Experience in data or materials management functions or similar product related environment;
  • English language;
  • Excellent computer skills with good knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
  • Team player;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Well organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines consistently;
  • Experience in work in cross-functional team's;
  • Ideally able to demonstrate knowledge of engines and experience of working with automotive replacement parts;
