Associate Structural Engineer

£60K - £65K dependent upon experience
Our client is an independent engineering and surveying consultancy. They have been in business for over 37 years with multiple offices in the UK.
They offer civil and structural engineering expertise, ground investigation, health and safety services andbuilding surveying as well as other specialised services and consulting support.
They provide innovative, effective and timely solutions on construction industry projects of an ever increasing scale and complexity nationwide. They have established a broad client base with projects ranging from small residential properties through tovast commercial developments.They have a vacancy in their Leicester office for an
Associate structural engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Colead a team structural engineers and technicians
- Liaising with directors, technical and project management control of projects
- Attend meetings with clients, architects, subcontractors and other professionals
- Support teams to undertaken site visits to monitor the profess of works against specifications
- Check calculations, specifications, drawings and reports produced by others
Requirements:
- At least 9 years post qualification experience in structural engineering design
- Chartered structural engineer or working towards chartership
- Active client portfolio
- Expertise in maintaining an overview of entire projects
- Wealth of knowledge of design tools such as TEDDs, Tekla and Revit
