Are you an experienced, technical Financial Accountant looking for your next challenge?


LHH is working with a leading business to help them in their search for a Financial Accountant to join the team on an initial 6 month FTC basis.

This role is pivotal in managing Tax & Statutory Reporting, Balance Sheets, Financial Control, and Stock Accounting.

£55,000


Reporting to:
Financial Controller


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Financial Controller to efficiently close monthend in line with segment timelines
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, legal requirements, and GAAP
  • Support in the development and implementation of processes, systems and policies
  • Assist in the developing of balance sheet budgets and monthly forecasts, financial reconciliations, reports, and statutory submissions
  • Process CAPEX requests to approval
  • Ownership of all statutory and tax submissions for UK & USA (incl. UK VAT returns and ONS, and USA Sales & Use and Property Tax)

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to engage with external stakeholders
  • Extensive accounting experience with Revenue Recognition, inventory accounting, and supporting audits
  • IDEALLY: Expert user knowledge of Navision, Power BI, Sharepoint, and Excel
