If you are looking for a full time job, we have an Exciting opportunity at the forefront of production as a
Food Production Operative in
Dartford, DA1 5AJ for our client.

Standard Pay: £10.40 p/h (starting at the end of January)

  • You will be working 5 out of 7 days from
    06:00am until
    14:00pm and
    14:00pm until
    22:00pm

Day to Day life as a Food Production Operative:


  • Grading soya pieces: Consisting of person or persons grading soya into usable pieces for the production process. Boxes to be opened for soya to be emptied into a sorting tray.
  • Onsite training to be given by site specialist

Palatizing: Person or persons removing boxes of packed product from the end of a production line and placing on a pallet. Each box weighing no more than 4kg. Once pallet completed, they will be wrapped with use of a pallet wrapping machine

Cleaning: Person or persons cleaning down at the end of a manufacturing shift. Use of water (hose pipe) both hot (not more the 40 degrees) and cold ambient. In line with chemical usage required

Weighing of product: Product to be weighed in line with weights and measures. Training to be given by on-site specialist. Moving product around site with use of a manual pump truck. Both inbound materials and outbound product to be movedaround with use of a manual pallet truck

  • COSHH and HASSAP training

What you need to do:


  • Moving product to and from freezer unit
  • Product move with a manual pump truck minimum time spent within the freezer.
  • Pallet placed in or removed from
  • Steaming product with use of a brat pan
  • Boiling water not more than 120 degrees.
  • Product steamed over pan for an allotted amount of time in line with process and procedure
  • Training given for usage of manual handling equipment and in line with our SOP standard by an onsite specialist

What you need to succeed:


  • No relatable experience required all training will be provided
  • Cando attitude with a willingness to learn something new
  • Willing to work in a fastpaced environment with repetitive work
