    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for Pharmacy Technicians looking to expand their experience by working on-site within a GP in Durham.

    Main duties of the job

  • Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
  • Prescribe in line with the practice protocols
  • Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients , care homes
  • Improve patients' safe use of medicines
  • Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols
  • Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts
  • Support with Structured Medications Reviews

    We are currently seeking registered Pharmacy Technician to work on-site in a General Practice in Durham .

    The Role

  • Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record
  • Prescribe in line with the practice protocols
  • Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients , care homes
  • Improve patients' safe use of medicines
  • Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols
  • Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts
  • Support with Structured Medications Review

    • The Skills

    To join our team, you will have 6 months minimum of experience in working in a general practice as a registered Pharmacy Technician.

    You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered and you will be a highly focused and motivated individual.

  • Experience as a registered Pharmacy Technician within a GP.
