Description

New position available - HR & Payroll Coordinator to join a small, supportive team of 4 and be a key member of the global HR team, based in head office, Newcastle City Centre.


As the HR & Payroll Coordinator, you will provide an efficient and customer-focused administrative service to the Company, so that the HR department maintains its purpose of being a valuable, proactive business partner.

As well as providing support to theHR team, you will provide office management support to the Newcastle Head Office with a hybrid working arrangement.


As HR & Payroll Coordinator your day-to-day role will be to:

  • Prepare monthly payrolls for both UK & European teams, ensuring the process and data is accurate and shared securely with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner for payroll deadlines.
  • Monitor and report sickness absence issues and trends on a regular basis and work with HR Operations Partners to support managers with absence management.
  • Provide reporting around head count & salary.
  • Act as a first point of contact for general HR admin queries, providing friendly, accurate, and helpful support to all stakeholders.
  • Manage accurate Global HR administration throughout the full employment life cycle from recruitment and onboarding to leave management and offboarding.
  • Assist and sometimes own various HR project work such as wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives to help drive the HR strategy.
Due to the nature of the role, previous experience in processing payroll would be preferred.

As well as HR & Payroll you will be responsible for some elements of office management, this will include:

  • General office administration including distributing incoming mail, conference room bookings, coordinating customer meetings, and managing office supply levels.


You will need to be super organised and efficient, excellent with HR systems and data, and passionate about helping others.

You should also have excellent attention to detail, with experience in an SME.

Full time / Permanent contract
Salary £25,000 - £26,500
Newcastle City Centre office with Hybrid working
25 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with service
