Summary


The Governing body are seeking to appoint a highly committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to make a strong contribution in school, helping support our children to reach their full potential across the school.

The post will primarily be based in Class 3 which is a mixed Reception and Year 1 class. The post is a permanent variable hours contract (Minimum 15 hours).
Initially for this academic year, the hours will be 30.5. The post is term time only plus 5 days for inset days.

Please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent, and salary will be paid on a pro rata basis.

St Oswald's is a small Catholic Primary School which is committed to raising standards of achievement. We have wonderful children, supportive parents, dedicated staff and Governors.

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post.
  • GCSE Grade C or above) in English and Maths
Desirable Qualifications

Other qualifications relevant to the post

Essential Experience

  • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
Desirable Experience

Experience of working with children with high level need e.g. ASD, Speech & Language
