Supply Coordinator

Crewe

Initially a 12 month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

£18+ per hour DOE

35 hours a week with some flexibility where needed.

2 days a week on site
Our client is a major British designer, manufacturer and marketer of luxury cars and SUV's.


Your role:

  • Ensuring parts availability targets are exceeded to meet the demands of global retailers.
  • Reviewing purchase orders across a range of suppliers ensuring sufficient orders to cover backorders and achieve the stocking strategy.
  • Identifying and implementing actions to ensure supplier schedule adherence, preventing backorders.

Essential Skills

  • Effective communication skills both written and orally
  • A proven record of working effectively with suppliers. relating to parts delivery
  • Previous background in Material Requirements Planning
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Confident in Part Scheduling Electronic Data Interchange
  • Supplier management and development with regards to schedule adherence
  • Identifying and resolving supply chain constraints
  • Knowledge of planning and problem solving techniques
  • Previous relevant experience of TS16949 or equivalent quality standards

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Negotiation skills
