About the Role

  • To support the team in administering rent and service charge accounts and collecting outstanding charges.
  • You will assist the team in arranging the billing of both routine service charges and major works charges, where necessary.
  • You will interrogate accounts on the Housing Management system to decide if any recovery action is required.
  • You will liaise directly with tenants, leaseholders and key stakeholders (e.g. colleagues in Housing Services) and undertake appropriate action to keep rent accounts and leasehold service charge accounts up to date.
  • You will assist the team to negotiate payment plans and enter such plans on to the Housing Management system.
  • You will assist the team in calculating and setting up direct debit payments.

This is a busy and exciting role working in a team responsible for the maintenance and administration of approximately 4,750 rent accounts and approximately 1,450 leaseholders' accounts.
