We help nations, governments and businesses around the world defend themselves against cyber-crime, reduce their risk in the connected world, comply with regulation, and transform their operations, through large strategic and IT transformation programmes.

We are currently building out a new high performing technology team from scratch that will consist of back-end, front-end and devops engineers.

Collectively, the team will be working within central government on national security projects so you must bewilling to go through security clearance

As a Java Software Engineer you will:

Write well designed, testable and competent code
Be working on a national security project while identifying potential road blocks and developing innovative solutions to overcome these
Successful delivery of highquality incremental software releases.
Associate in all aspects of the development life cycle while improving software development throughout
Maintain stakeholder relationships and communicate with colleagues to share knowledge and assist with objectives

The successful Java Software Engineer have:

Heavy experience in Java,
Experience using relevant frameworks i.e. Spring, hibernate
Full development lifecycle experience
Domain experience and ability to tackle challenging technical problems
Familiarity with Agile software development.

*Microservice Architecture

*You will have experience writing tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability

*You will be experienced in using different types of source control (preferably Git), be familiar with continuous integration, test-driven development and be prepared to use Agile development techniques to incrementally deliver working software
