nWe are currently working with a leading Staffing and Recruitment company who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their Central London team.
With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and innovation, they are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to manage our financial processes effectively.
nPosition Overview:
nAs a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts from clients.
nKey Responsibilities:
nChase overdue invoices via telephone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment.nNegotiate payment plans and resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.nConduct regular debtor reviews and provide accurate and timely reports to management.nMonitor and maintain credit limits, ensuring they are appropriate and adhered to.nWork closely with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.nIdentify and escalate potential credit risks to minimize bad debt exposure.nAssist with month-end closing processes and contribute to the improvement of credit control procedures.
nRequirements:
nProven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.nStrong understanding of credit control procedures and best practices.nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.nAbility to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.nProficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g. Bullhorn, Zero).nHighly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.nAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.nA proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.nKnowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
