Our vibrant and outgoing finance team are looking for a credit controller who will assist the credit control manager in collecting debt in a timely and courteous manner.


Key responsibilities

  • To proactively contact the customer to make sure that they have all the information to pay the debt on time
  • To chase for all overdue debt
  • Process requests for new accounts
  • Cash allocation
  • Effective interaction with colleagues in different departments to agree appropriate approach to client query and dispute resolution
  • Maintain the customer accounts so that they are clean and presentable
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Support the credit control manager with timely information
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure that they are aware of the customers situation
  • Contribute to collection targets and other KPI's both individually and for the team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Must be able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills
  • Experience of being a team player
