A Rockwater runner is a proactive, cheerful team player, with a passion for the hospitality industry. Working collaboratively with the team and guests to ensure service delivery and guest experience is of paramount importance.

You will focus on exceeding the expectations of the customer, and providing the best possible experience, incorporating Rockwater standards of service requirements at all times.


  • Ensure that all food and beverage items are delivered to the correct tables in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use a tray at all times when delivering / clearing drinks and glassware.
  • When delivering food, make sure guests have everything they require in terms of condiments, second drinks and anything else they might need before leaving the table.
  • Clear empty glasses / plates and general debris from tables.
  • Ensure all cutlery is clean and polished during service.
  • Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
  • Being aware of and follow the correct allergy procedure at all times.
  • Minimize wastage at all times and record appropriately.
  • Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
  • To have an understanding of Rockwater and the various experiences we offer our guests, including our Openwater subscription.
  • To be at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and to clock in and out accordingly.
  • To always be presentable and to represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard.
  • To follow the correct sickness procedure.
  • Ensure to follow up any guidance or instructions given to you by management (i.e overall cleaning).
  • To assist where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.
