£25,230.25 pa plus up to 7% employer pension contribution

Age UK Bolton is looking for an Information and Advice Officer to help provide essential support for local people over 50, with a particular focus on energy-related advice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Information and Advice service as it grows to meet the needs of older people.

You will be helping people to claim for benefits and to support local residents to afford their energy bills and reduce fuel poverty.

As you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of enquiries we are looking for someone with strong IT and customer care skills and up-to-date knowledge on welfare benefits and pensions and/ or energy.

Full training on welfare benefits and energy advice will be given.

This role may appeal particularly to people who have experience in the energy industry.
