Industries - Defence, Rail, Nuclear, Recycle & General

  • Ensure projects are led and fulfilled from order to full production
  • Main point of contact forbluechip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order ( Management )
  • Breaking down engineering drawings to produce a bill of materials
  • Creating 2D DXF cutting files for use in our thermal cutting processes
  • Inputting manufacturing information into operating system to generate route cards
  • Generating process manufacturing drawings
  • Raising purchase order requisitions and expediting suppliers
  • Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues.
  • Prepare accurate timelines for all aspect of each project
  • To progress the manufacture of all parts required to schedule
  • Involvement in quotation & design process

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Engineering qualification or good engineering background.
  • Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD and ERP manufacturing systems.
  • Management Experience is a strong advantage

Fabrications background ideal:


  • Apprenticeship experience or from working in a company in the past
