We are looking for a Head of Training to be responsible for all aspects of the Resource Training operational training delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


In addition to the functions detailed below, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

In addition, key objectives and targets will be set/established and agreed on appointment.

  • Responsible to the General Manager RT For the following:
  • Management of the short, medium and long-term planning all aspects of RT training delivery and examinations in close co-operation with the RT Apprenticeship Centre and Business Development functions.
  • Managing training and examination service delivery to RT clients meeting business and customer satisfaction KPI's and targets.
  • Liaising with external agencies and representing RT at meetings, seminars and other presentations as required.
  • Maintaining and managing effective controls throughout the RT training delivery and examination function.
  • Ensuring managers maintain service delivery costs within budgetary requirements. Targeting cost reductions and improving profitability wherever possible.
  • Managing and developing training and examination management staff. Deploying effective people management and development strategies to inspire and motivate the individual and the training and examination management team to enable them to achieve their full potential.
  • As the nominated F4 Post Holder Accountable Manager, ensuring compliance with all regulation including UKCAA, EASA and GCAA.
  • Ensuring the LRTT Ltd annual budget as approved by the parent company Board is discharged in support of the approvals through the delegated authority of the RT General Manager.
  • Driving the development and innovation in training and examination delivery and supporting the development of training material to ensure RT remains at the forefront of training for the industry.
  • Project management of new initiatives from inception to successful implementation.
  • Ensuring that operating objectives and standards of performance and conduct are owned and complied with by all members of staff.
  • Actively looking for innovation and continuous improvements for the internal functions of RT defining benefits and overseeing implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Significant management experience in the aviation and/or aviation training environment

Salary:
From £74,000.00 per year
