Financial Services National Account Manager


Basic salary £40-45,000 + Commission, giving an OTE of £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client delivers a superb level of service to its clients and as a result, is a market leader within their field. They are an incredibly professional and focused team, however their environment is quite relaxed, incredibly supportive and verywelcoming. They continually offer staff incentives and focus on personal development. This is an office based role, however, they do offer flexibility.

Daily duties & Responsibilities:


  • Managing a key client portfolio of clients, working with a consultative approach to achieve key objectives
  • Working constantly with the aim of both nurturing and growing existing clients
  • Ongoing consultative communication with clients, including running Client Account reviews
  • Supporting and managing new business enquiries
  • Effectively implementing new clients, monitoring and being involved with client contracts
  • Managing an upward flow of MI to report on your performance and that of your clients to Senior Management
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • You will be tenacious and agile in your ability to problem solve and offer solutions to clients
  • Being continually aware of commercial outcomes and changes which may impact your clients and your business
  • Previous Account Management experience gained within Financial Services
  • Superb communication skills to build effective relationships via various communication channels
  • A growth mindset with your clients, with the ability to upsell when the opportunity is there, aiming for continued long term client development
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, tenacious and eager to make a difference with your contribution
  • Strong analysis and judgement skills with effective time management and organisation
  • Strong commercial awareness and able to work with and maintain extremely confidential information
  • You may have Qualifications within the Financial Services sector, such as DipPFS or similar
