SEMH Teacher

Are you a Qualified Teacher who has experience teaching children with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours?This busy SEMH school is looking to add an SEMH Teacher to the team to teach a small class of Key Stage 3 children who have been excluded from mainstreameducation.

This role requires a qualified teacher who excellent behaviour management skills and an empathetic approach.

You will be joining an experience team of SEMH Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are dedicated to making a difference.


  • QTS Teacher
  • Able to show you have capacity to work in other areas of the Curriculum
  • Happy to work in an Alternative Provision
  • Used to working with children and young adults with some challenging attitudes towards learning and enabling them to make progress
  • Looking to have an impact, be creative and make lessons interesting
  • Happiest when seeing that "light bulb" moment in terms of learning
  • A confident communicator who understands that every child in this setting has a different story to tell therefore be someone who can really differentiate
