DBA/Windows System Admin

3 month initial contract with potential to extend

Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35/ Umbrella)

London Based - Hybrid 2/3 days on-site


We are working with a Government client, working in legal sector who are looking for an adaptable Engineer with a mix of skills across Database Administration and Windows Systems Admin duties.


The Role:
The role itself will consist of a mixture of DBA responsibilities as well as Windows Systems Administration duties.

The role will be in a Windows and Azure based environment, alongside working with SQL Databases and a single Oracle Database, hence therewill not be enough DBA duties to make this a full time DBA role.


Our client is therefore looking for an adaptable Engineer who is capable of and has Windows based Infrastructure Engineering experience as well as some DBA experience to be able to support, maintain and build SQL/Oracle databases as and when needed.


You can be stronger in either Windows or SQL DBA, but you will need to perform both duties as and when needed.


Skills:


  • Windows Server Administration and related tech experience.
  • SQL Server Administration experience.
  • Oracle Databases Administration experience.
  • Microsoft Azure, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
  • Working knowledge of Office36
  • Intune or EndPoint management would also be ideal
