A fantastic opportunity for an
Assistant Merchandiser - Part Time to join a clothing retailer in Leeds.

Working closely with the Head of Merchandise in the day to day running of the department, providing analytical and operational supportto help maximise sales, profit and sellthrough.

Description
Assist and deputise for the Intake Merchandiser, POs, critical path, intake management

Order fulfilment, stock status, reporting and monitoring

Assist with range planning across non retail divisions, monitoring wholesale forward orders, updating linecards,

Meeting with Mail Order companies to assess requirements, discuss in season processes & progress, resolving any issues arising.

Set up (and add to each season) a database of all prices charged for each season.

Check seasonal contracts to ensure correct prices are being used

Ringfence seasonal stock to fulfil estimates, reduce as orders happen

Review internal processes and recommend change if necessary

Send weekly stock status reports detailing stock arrivals, delays and size shortages

Monitor linecards on all continuity product and advise if any action is required

Learn the range planning process with a view to taking responsibility of selected garment catagories

Update Intake dates in a timely manner and inform relevant divisions of any changes.

Learn and understand the supply chain/intake/import procedures, liasing with suppliers and freight forwarders.

Profile

Commercially driven and easily build relations with your peers in both merchandising and retail teams
Enthusiastic about your chosen career in merchandising.
Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing fashion market.
Be a strong communicator with excellent organisation skills.

Job Offer
Unique part time role in Merchandising up to 18 hours per week

£12.50 per hour
