An exciting opportunity has arisen in our
Compliance team for a permanent Compliance Oversight Officer based at our Newport City or Cardiff Offices and including agile working from home.

What will you be doing?
- As the Compliance Oversight Officer you will Undertake Compliance Oversight/ Monitoring reviews to provide assurance that the business is operating in alignment with FCA regulatory expectations and delivering good customer outcomes
- You will Lead, manage and deliver thematic and dip Oversight/Monitoring reviews as part of the annual compliance oversight plan, within identified timescales
- Identify any areas where the Society is not in line with FCA regulatory expectations, or not producing good customer outcomes, and collate these into a written report
- Communicate your findings to key Stakeholders and wider governance committees as required
What type of person will you need to be?**- Excellent working knowledge of retail FCA regulation
- Minimum 1 years' experience within a 2nd line compliance monitoring/oversight function
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
