EXPERIENCED STOCK CONTROLLER
We are hiring for an experienced Stock Controller to join our warehouse administration team at our Southampton cold store.

This is a key role in enabling the efficient running of the warehouse and you will work closely with the Site Manager.

This is a full-time post, working between 8.00am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

  • Taking goods inwards/outwards bookings and updating the daily bookings diary
  • Dealing with all customer/haulier queries, investigating and carrying out necessary amendments as per the customer's requirements and reporting or escalating queries to the Site Manager as required
  • Booking drivers in and out of the site
  • Booking stock in and raising picks on the warehouse management system
  • Accurately 'landing' goods in
  • Correctly completing stock relocations on the warehouse management system
  • Advising the Site Manager and customers (where required) of any issues that have occurred with stock or any damages
  • Advising customers of any missing stock once a stock check or other investigation has been completed
  • Taking goods inwards/outwards bookings and updating the daily bookings diary
  • Assisting the warehouse team with locating missing stock both on the warehouse management system and physically in the warehouse
  • Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Receipts & Despatch Quality Advisor to accurately complete stock checks
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed correctly by the warehouse team (i.e. the paperwork matches the warehouse management system, all paperwork signed for, etc.) before completing the job and filing the paperwork.
  • Any other hands on warehouse duties as required

  • Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is desirable
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Capable and confident in dealing with competing demands, prioritising effectively

From £24,000.00 per year
