Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has an exciting opportunity available for a
Leadership and Learning Coach to join our team based in
Maidstone. You will join us on a
full-time, temporary basis (12 month contract), and in return, you will receive a competitive salary
of £33, £44,083.00 per annum pro rata.

About the role:


As a
Leadership and Learning Coach, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver impactful programmes, collaborate with key stakeholders and the wider HR Teams, and build content that will develop our leaders.

The role requires a high responsiveness and a future-focused approach to manage the evolving needs of KFRS.


You will build the content of leadership & learning development programmes and Managers Toolkit and work closely with the Inclusion team to ensure all content created will support our drive to create a diverse and inclusive leadership culture.


As our Leadership and Learning Coach, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and deliver leadership and learning development initiatives and collaborate with other HR teams on related programmes.
  • Source or create innovative solutions and development for the organisation by researching leadership and learning externally.
  • Understand digital, techenabled, and blended learning experiences to scale learning experiences to all colleagues.
  • Lead on the generation and delivery of content that will enable the management team to understand how to support and manage their teams including absence, performance and leadership conversations.
- consult and influence at all levels of leadership to enable successful learning outcomes.


What we're looking for in our
Leadership and Learning Coach:

  • A dynamic and creative passion for learning and development
  • Experience in designing and delivering leadership and learning programmes
  • Skill in collaborating with crossfunctional teams
  • A strong HR background with a passion for equality, diversity and inclusion
  • The ability to think outside the box to source innovative solutions to drive the organisation's learning and development culture forward
  • Strong communication and influencing skills enabling you to engage with managers at all skills levels
