We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the friendly administration team within the very busy New Forest Community CAMHS Team.

Excellent communication and listening skills are required for this role, along with organisational and problem-solving skills.

IT skills, accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team are all essential for this role.


CAMHS community teams consist of staff across Hampshire that have expertise in working with children/young people with complex mental health difficulties and their families/carers.


This position will be based in Ashurst located in the New Forest, with free parking, close to the railway station and easily accessible by road.

This role is to provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to the clinical team.

To liaise with other departments and services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, referrers and other agencies.

To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID

You will be required:


  • To provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the team; this will include handling all aspects of correspondence, including
processing referrals and dealing with telephone enquiries.

  • Liaise with other directorates and staff at all levels and with external
agencies.

  • To act as a contact point for members of the team during office hours,
responding appropriately in emergency situations by obtaining relevant
information and liaising with organisations and persons involved
