Principal Responsibilities

  • Builds and sustains trusted partnerships and relationships across business and technical functions.
  • Interacts with various management and associate levels to understand problems and opportunities and to communicate ideas, strategies and solutions.
  • Contributor to facilitating communications / interactions between technology and the product owners.
  • Assists the Product Owner (PO) to understand, clarify and document requirements for website enhancements.
  • Assists the Product Owner (PO) and development team in the investigation and resolution of defects or incidents.
  • Assists with validating and testing of new features to ensure that they fulfill the success criteria of new features.
  • Has the ability to deputize for the scrum master when the scrum master is on holiday or unavailable
  • Provides consultancy and advice on functionality, applicability and usability of solutions (process and/or technology) to project requirements.
Works with product owners to assess related business process changes and impact to users/clients. Identifiesopportunities to improve.

  • Continues to educate self on business to continue to create efficiencies and/or mitigate risk via people/process/technology changes for the business.
Stays informed on overarching business and solution architecture.

Continues to educate self analyticallyand/or technically to keep up to date and ensure their ability to work on a variety of solutions for the business.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS


Required:

  • Ability to translate business problems into viable functional and/or technical specifications. Able to write clear requirement tickets in a tool such as Rally or JIRA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Willing to occasionally run or assist the product owner in running regular monthly operational processes
  • Must be able to meet with clients of varying levels to gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements, work closely with developers and testers in the fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in team environment
  • Possesses ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to effectively influence clients and champion change at various levels in the organization.
  • In depth understanding of how the people, processes and technology within an organization interact in relationships and patterns to create a feasible solution on highly complex projects.
  • Able to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Understands and is familiar with the techniques and analysis associated with business, process and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of relational and nonrelational database concepts and SQL.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Degree qualified and 4+ years of related work experience.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Digital Marketing strongly preferred (web content management, analytics, campaign management, etc.), ideally servicing global audiences.
  • Ability to use technical tools to investigate issues (Inspect APIs, use Postman, write SQL queries)
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) would be
Highly beneficial

  • Prior experience in the Asset Management industry (especially institutional / intermediary channels) desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial data and metrics (asset allocation, diversification, attribution, performance calculations, etc.) preferred.
  • Understanding of Business Architecture and related concepts preferred.

Rowe Price Technology currently operates a hybrid working model working two days per week from the London office and three days from home.
