Assistant Accountant - Leicester - Permanent - £25,000-£30,000 per annum

Macildowie Finance are excited to be working on a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a brilliant retail business based in Leicester.

This role is on a permanent basis and is offering a salary of between £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependingon experience.

This role would be a great opportunity for a studier looking for a progression opportunity where they can gain practical experience, but also for an experienced individual looking to continue their career in a brilliant business.

This role will be supporting the management accountant and some of the responsibilities include:

Supporting with month end tasks including:
Prepayments and journals
Month end variance analysis
Cash and bank reconciliations
Daily sales and weekly trading reports
Supporting on budgeting and forecasting

You must be/have...

Excellent communication skills
At least 2 years' experience working in an accounts role and comfortable with working papers
ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent, or actively studying
QBE also considered
