We are looking for a Senior Stock Controller to join our Birmingham Selfridges team.


In this role you will supervise the stockroom supplying products to the sales floor, monitoring inventory levels and managing after sales service requests.


Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare new items to be displayed in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure replenishment is done hourly and accurately.
  • Control and supervise transfers and all other operations in a timely manner.
  • Manage organization of stock in accordance with Gucci directives and procedures
  • Supervise the flow of goods between storage and the shop floor, prepare and control arrangement of articles.
  • Follow daily placement of items for sale, in line with articles available in stock.
  • Plan and undertake inventory operations and be a stakeholder in monitoring lossprevention and unknown markdowns.
  • Communicate daily with article rotation managers and propose remedial measures where necessary.
  • Responsible for all aspects of after sales management acting as point of contact on customer complaints and quality issues.
  • Execute repair and returns ticket management according to company standards and coordinating with stores, back office, repair center and headquarters.
  • Manually enter and update data in after sales system.
Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar Stockroom/Warehouse role ideally in Retail.
  • Excellent knowledge and practice of managing inventories.
  • Well organized and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Fluency in English, other languages will be considered a plus.
