- Delivering Tutorial Support and Professional Skills Development - Provide personalized guidance to students, helping them stay on track and achieve their potential as well as offering support in areas such as study skills, time management, and career readiness.
- Group and One-to-One Support in Vocational/Academic Areas- Work closely with students and conduct weekly one-on-one sessions to address individual needs and challenges.

- Pastoral Support for Student Success - Monitor attendance, punctuality, retention and Identify at-risk students and provide targeted interventions.
- Collaboration and Student Progression - Coordinate with teaching staff, parents, external agencies to ensure students' progress and foster supportive environment.
- Promoting Safeguarding and Student Well-Being - Actively promote the College's safeguarding policies and serve as a point of support for students, addressing their well-being and safety concerns.

- Willingness to work towards Level 2 Safeguarding and Youth Mental Health First Aid qualification

As a dedicated student support professional, your role encompasses a multifaceted approach. You provide essential tutorial support and foster professional skills development, ensuring students remain on track and achieve their full potential. Whether it's through one-on-one sessions or group tutorials, you cover a wide range of topics—from safeguarding and resilience to career readiness and well-being. As part of this exciting role, you will be PAT for several different areas for example - Health and social care, ESOL, Business and Computing.

About The Bedford College Group
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
