  • This is a paid, full-time 12-months internship from September 2023 to August 202
  • Based at our London Head Office with hybrid working.

  • Department Overview:
  • The Wholesale department is responsible for the sales and distribution of Michael Kors merchandise outside of Michael Kors' own retail stores and online channel. Partnering with world renowned retailers, the Wholesale team curates and sells four seasonal collections annually, increasing product visibility and brand exposure while creating additional sales revenue for the business.
  • The Intern will support the Wholesale team in executing business growth plans in line with MK's new 'Jet-Set' strategy and will work closely with all MK products across RTW, Accessories & Footwear (Women's & Men's) and will develop a strong understanding of the current retail landscape, key business partners and market needs while also learning skills across all areas of Sales.
  • What You'll Do:
  • Ensure highest possible customer service and follow through on all tasks given
  • Represent the brand in professional manner and support wholesale team day to day
  • Shadow the sales team during market appointments to understand sales process and client base
  • Coordinate with Wholesale Assistant and Accounts Executives on sample management and ensure showroom merchandising standards are maintained
  • Research client base to understand business models, distribution points and product offering
  • Travel with Account Executives to visit clients instore to monitor brand representation and VM standards
  • Collaborate on product needs for each season alongside Account Excutives and Merchandising teams
  • Attend seasonal collection presentations either virtually or in person in our Milan Showroom
  • Understand product activations/promotional timelines/AD campaigns by joining Wholesale Marketing meetings
  • Assist in creation of seasonal trade and overview reports with Account Executives in preparation for market appointments (best/slow sellers, distribution changes, market conditions)
  • Maintain and follow current order process from order entry through to product delivery
  • Communicate order amendments to sales team and clients efficiently with clear follow up
  • Shadow the Wholesale Sales Forecast/Budget process with Account Executive and Planning team
