Due to team reconfiguration and service expansion, exciting opportunities have arisen within the Adult Social Care Community IRT for two Care Act Assessors Band 4.

These are permanent fulltime positions although consideration will be given to applicants wanting to work on a part-time basis.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their social care career who wants to experience a wide range of opportunities, you will be fully supported to develop your skills and experience within a supportive team environment.


You will be part of the adult social care social care community teams,working in partnership with colleagues within our wider care group.

A good knowledge of the services available to support and promote independence in the home environment is essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and innovative individuals who possess excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful applicants will be working within a busy Initial Response Team. The role involves working closely with service-users, carers, partner agencies and other professionals providing low-level assessment of need, signposting, care planning and reviews in line with The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
