Job Summary:
Kiwa Agri Food is looking for a BRCGS Auditor.

As an employed BRCGS Auditor your role will be to deliver BRCGS audits against one or more of the BRC Global Standards while offering technical support to the wider team as required.

This role is home-based with extensive travel within the UK and some international travel. Kiwa, is a global top 20 leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification.

About the role:

  • Report into and work closely with the Food Schemes Manager
  • Conduct audits of schemes within the sector. This will mainly be BRC Global Standards, however an openness to audit and assess other related schemes is required.
  • Complete technical reviews on schemes within the sector.
  • Provide technical support to other assessors and technical reviewers, whether employed or contracted.
  • Update and maintain records and reports in electronic systems.
  • Ensure the quality of the service we offer.
  • Maintain technical knowledge via continual professional development and develop knowledge of other areas in the sector.
  • Attend meetings, training seminars, shows and events as required.
  • Create strong relationships with customers and scheme owners ensuring ongoing business.
  • Be actively involved in identifying, developing and implementing new schemes.
  • Bring a dynamic, driven and motivated approach to the Company and support the introduction of changes in culture required to maintain Kiwa at the leading edge of the TIC industry.

Do you have what it takes?:

  • Current approved BRCGS auditor against one or more of the 3 following BRCGS

Global Standards:
Food Safety, Storage & Distribution and/or Packaging Materials.

  • Good working knowledge of typical IT tools (Microsoft Office, etc)
  • Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to be able to work under their own initiative but refer any problems or concerns to the Food Scheme Manager.
  • Willingness to build experience and expand auditing horizons.

What can you expect from us in return?:

  • £42,000
  • £45,000 per annum
- £4,800 Car Allowance
