Job summary
It is an exciting time for our client as they continue on a major transformation programme.
Their ambition is to become the world's leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data.


They are looking to appoint two Technical Delivery Officers to work closely with local authorities, ensuring the smooth migration of the Local Land Charges service, from a technical perspective.


You will be attending meetings with local authorities, attending local authority and customer events and conferences to promote the Local Land Charges service and discussing integration options.

You will also provide technical advice, guidance and assistanceduring migration, working closely with Delivery Managers within the programme and incumbent suppliers.


Job description

  • Most local authorities use computer based systems for their Local Land Charge Service. The role requires working with Local Authorities (LA's) on the successful extraction of this data in both textual and spatial formats
  • Proven and working API technologies (Application Programme Interface) are used for the transfer of data between LAs and them once in Live service. Supporting LAs on enabling the API's with their computer based solutions is required
  • Work with incumbent suppliers to support their roll out of extraction and integration solutions
  • Working with their Delivery Teams on bringing all LA's on board with the Live service
  • Gather insight from stakeholders to develop the LLC Programme's technical understanding of their needs
  • Work closely with the existing them and LLC technical teams to ensure adherence with common public sector network security requirements
  • Support the Local Authority Technical Delivery Manager to ensure that relevant senior colleagues are kept up to date with stakeholder issues and opportunities using weekly progress reports
Please note the role may involve occasional travel to Local Authorities or other offices, which may include overnight stays.


Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access for detailed data analysis tables using the data functions in the software.

You will need to have knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure to be able to assistLocal Authorities in undertaking their migrations.

You will be able to demonstrate working with different data formats and understanding the output from them. You will be able to organise your own and others work, with flexibility to meet conflicting and changing priorities. You will be able to demonstratestrong team working skills, with the ability to network beyond the core team. You will also have an understanding of techniques used to draw out and document requirements.
