Head of KYC Investment Banking Refresh 12 Mth FTC

Glasgow

As a Barclays Head of KYC Investment Banking Refresh, you will be accountable for the Service Oversight, performance management and reporting.

You will represent regular service oversight forums and develop in depth, robust stakeholder relationships with Business, Risk and COO and Functions.

You will be in charge of the control governance across all aspects of the client maintenance lifecycle, including KYC periodic reviews of Client Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Client Offboarding for the Investment Bank.

What will you be doing?

You will lead and direct day to day operations across c 100 FTE in line with global strategy and Client Lifecycle Management policy
Ensuring compliance to policy, regulation and local procedures
Acting as the senior operations representative for across KYC (AML) and KYC Auxiliary services such as Regulatory Controls, Functions and Business Related control checks
Ensuring the organization is adequately capable to deliver services while ensuring managing costs and controls are rigorously managed
Supporting in setting up a standardised centre, ensuring a fungible team is developed both near and off shore
Driving through a significant improvement in analyst EFT scores and overall KRI measurements
Understanding and managing business priorities as part of the daytoday services driving 'best in class' service
Developing, in partnership with the Client Maintenance COO office, creating a set of standards for internal SLA's as well as KRI, ensuring a suite of reports are available

What we're looking for:

Vast experience of Operational Management and Operational Banking/Financial Services
Detailed knowledge of KYC/AML with wide experience of complex customer types and sectors
Experience with global accountabilities and global teams in a fast paced Banking/Financial institution environment
Commercial mindset with a focus on delivery and execution of services as well as with a view on customer outcomes

Skills that will help you in the role:

An exceptional leader with the ability to successfully build and manage teams and functions
Demonstrates gravitas with the ability to manage and influence at a senior executive level across both internal and external stakeholders and clients
Management/Leadership Operations experience within the Financial Service Business,
Investment Banking and Markets experience including industry and product specialisms
