This role is for our Aelia duty free store situated in the departure lounge of Luton Airport; we are currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic new members to join the team that have a passion for excellence, teamwork and world class customer service.

Job purpose:

Delivering a well-presented store, with great availability, is a key part of a customer's overall shopping experience.

As a Replenishment Assistant you will work to maintain store standards around stock levels, merchandising and housekeeping tasks, whist delivering first class customer service to our customers.


Key responsibilities:


100% Customer Focus

  • Greeting customers with a friendly smile
  • Helping customers with product selection
  • Offering additional link sales
  • Ensuring all customers receive excellent customer service everytime
  • End to end customer service including till operations

Stock Management

  • Accurately process deliveries; check and reject from warehouse
  • Picks stock accurately from stockrooms
  • Implements and maintains planogram to correct standards
  • Ensure the shelves are faced correctly
  • Follows correct out of stock process
  • Checks for missing tickets and escalate to resolve
  • Completes accurate date rotation of products, removes out of date or damaged products
  • Assists with promotion changeovers
  • Keeps the shelves and display areas clean and tidy

Housekeeping / Health & Safety

  • Keeping the store well presented at all time
  • Ensure the safe usage of all the cleaning materials
  • Ensuring store and stock rooms are kept tidy in line with H&S
  • Reporting any potential hazards on the shop floor or stock room to the manager/supervisors

Security

  • Supports loss prevention by being vigilant
  • Ensuring security of stock on shop floor and compliance of till inventory
  • Responsible for the shop floor security when on shift
  • Awareness of potential security risks out with store and part of the greater airport community

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide professional standard of services
  • Reliable in attendance and time keeping
  • Selfmotivated


A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge.
