We are working in partnership with a large Secondary Academy based in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Design and Technology or Art specialist Teacher, who is also comfortable with the other - to teach KS3 and KS4 on a full time long term basis from April until the end of this academic year.
We are seeking an outstanding candidate who is adept and experienced in teaching either Art or DT, with a crossover into both, especially Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4, you will be joining a robust and strong Performing Arts department who work collaboratively to ensure a positive working environment for staff and students alike.
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about DT and Art to provide the very best opportunity for students across the school.
To support the school raising standards of teaching and learning across the department and in monitoring progress towards agreed aims.
To support the school in the implementation of agreed whole school policies and initiatives.Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have outstanding teaching practice.
Have experience of improvement planning.
Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
