Associate Practitioner Band 4

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the UHNM Pathology Laboratory for Associate Practitioners (AP) working within the Virology Laboratories.


This role will primarily be supporting the rapid provision of the Covid-19 and respiratory virus testing service for the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.


Please note:

There is a requirement within this role to take part in 24 hour working rosters, including late and night shifts.

Applicants will be expected to have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Clinical Laboratory Support or equivalent. You will also be able to demonstrate significant additional theoretical or applied experience of working in a clinical Microbiology laboratory
