Aanand Daryanani

I am a recent graduate of the University of Birmingham, after a three year undergraduate course in International Relations with Economics and the PgDipEd Primary Maths Specialist course, where I gained QTS. I have A-levels in Maths, Economics and Latin, as well as experience in schools across Birmingham. 
 

As a teacher, I want to be able to make a difference to children’s lives and create a safe space for them to learn and thrive. I believe in learning through more interactive and fun methods, so that all lessons are appealing to children.

I have been on two placements during my PgDipEd in 2021-22: one in Year 3 at Nelson Mandela School in Sparkbrook; and one in Year 6 at Victoria Park Academy in Smethwick. I have also done some teaching in Secondary Schools (Waverley School and Bournville School) while acting as a cover teacher, where I have also had experience in dealing with lots of challenging behaviour, as well as dealing with children with different special educational needs.
