As a Data Analyst and Data Scientist with a Mechatronics Engineering background, I bring 6 years of work experience
to the table. Completed an MSc in Data Science from the University of Sussex, I also hold IBM Data Science
Professional and Google Data Analytics certifications. I've spearheaded several research projects and conducted in-
depth data analysis and visualisation using R, Python, Tableu and Microsoft Power BI. I am eager to apply these skills
and contribute to organisational growth in a challenging role, while expanding my own professional experience and
knowledge. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and analysing football tactics and statistics.

• Spearheaded the development of a state-of-the-art Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model aimed at
predicting malaria from microscopic images of blood smears.
• Utilized Python and popular deep learning libraries like TensorFlow and Keras to preprocess data, build,
train, and evaluate the CNN model.
• Worked in collaboration with domain experts to curate and preprocess a large-scale dataset consisting of
blood smear images.
• Engineered data augmentation techniques to enhance the robustness of the model by synthesizing additional
training data from the limited available dataset.
• Implemented transfer learning from pre-trained models to improve the CNN model's performance in
detecting malaria parasites.
• Achieved a validation accuracy of over 95% on the test set, contributing to the successful identification of
malariainfected cells.
• Conducted statistical analysis using SQL and Python to assess the impact of public health interventions.
